These Terms of Service govern use of the ObsCast platform (available at https://obscast.com and https://app.obscast.com) by registered users ("you"). The provider is the operator of ObsCast ("we", "us").
1. Service
ObsCast is a software-as-a-service platform for monitoring, recording and analysing livestreams and for creating, reviewing and publishing clips. Features include recording plans, archive/player, transcription/translation, AI analysis, clip studio, broadcast overlays and publishing via the official TikTok Content Posting API (OAuth).
2. Registration and account
- Use requires an account with a valid email address and a secure password.
- You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Registration details must be accurate and kept up to date.
3. TikTok accounts and publishing
- To upload automatically you connect your TikTok account via official TikTok OAuth and grant required permissions (e.g.
video.upload,video.publish). - You confirm you are authorised to publish on behalf of the connected TikTok account and that content complies with TikTok Community Guidelines and applicable law.
- ObsCast acts on your instruction when publishing; TikTok remains the sole platform for public display of videos.
- We may refuse uploads or stop jobs for technical limits, API errors or security reasons.
4. Acceptable use
Prohibited in particular:
- Illegal, harassing, discriminatory or copyright-infringing content
- Circumventing security, quota or authentication controls
- Abusing the platform or TikTok APIs (spam, manipulation, unofficial scraping/upload methods)
- Sharing credentials with third parties without our consent
5. Content and rights
You retain rights in your uploaded or generated content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process and (when publishing) transmit that content to TikTok solely to provide the service.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted use. Features may be developed, limited or discontinued. Material changes will be communicated reasonably.
7. Fees and plans
Plans may include different quotas (creators, recordings, clips, connected TikTok accounts). Billing and cancellation follow the selected plan and in-app / invoice terms.
8. Liability
We are fully liable for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of material contractual duties and limited to foreseeable typical damage. We are not liable for content you publish on TikTok or for TikTok availability/rules.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breaches of these terms. After termination we delete or anonymise personal data per our Privacy Policy, unless legal retention applies.
10. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN CISG. If a clause is invalid, the remainder stays in force. Questions: familie.koerner@levi-x.de.
